Nigeria’s crude production peaked at 554.4mb in 2025, says NUPRC

Nigeria produced a total of about 554.4 million barrels of crude oil and condensate in 2025 , The Nation learnt yesterday. This was contained in the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) document titled: “Crude oil and condensate production 2025.” The lowest price of the Brent Crude in 2025 was $63/b at the close of the year, while it opened with $79/b as the highest price. The average crude oil price in the year was $71/b.
