Stock market advances by 0.56%, investors gain N154bn

Transactions on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Market on Wednesday closed on a positive note as the All Share Index appreciated by 0.56% to close at 51,377.21 points from the previous close of 51,091.75 points.Investors gained N154 billion as the Market Capitalisation grew by 0.56% to close at N27.698 trillion from the previous close of N27.544 trillion.An aggregate of 229 million units of shares were traded in 4,536 deals, valued at N3.196 billion.The market breadth closed positive as 18 equities appreciated in their share prices against 16 equities that declined in their share prices.
