HOW DO I OPEN ACCOUNT ?

By completing an account opening form which can be downloaded on our website or picked up from our office. Please not that all KYC requirements must be met before an account is opened.

HOW DO I TRANSFER MY ACCOUNT FROM ONE HOUSE TO ANOTHER ?

There is a standard inter-member transfer form to be completed. The transfer may be initiated by the resident stockbroking firm(where the account is domiciled) or the target firm(where the account is moving to).

HOW DO I OPERATE MY ACCOUNT WHEN I AM NOT IN THE COUNTRY ?

Virtually all areas of clients’ accounts can be accessed anywhere in the world via the company’s website with the aid of pre-supplied log-in details i.e user ID and Password unique to individuals.

WHAT IS VERIFICATION/DEMATERIALIZATION OF SHARE CERTIFICATE ?

This is the process of converting investment holding form physical (share certificate) to electronic. (crediting investors’s CSCS) account. This process usually takes between 2-3 weeks baring otherĀ  exigencies.

WHAT IS CSCS ?

The Central Securities and Clearing System acts as a depository and custodian of quoted companies shares in Nigeria. They clear and settle trades between brokers and also ensure delivery of the shares albeit electronically, to the investors account on settlement day.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SELL OR BUY MY SHARES?

Shares of Companies that are trading actively can be sold once the broker receives a client’s mandate before 9:00am on the trading date. Please note that share certificates must be dematerialized.
